What is E-Money?

E-Money is an electronic payment system and store of value operating in the financial services industry. The company’s vision is to create a level playing field, providing equal access to transparent financial services, on a global scale, while greatly reducing costs. To that end, e-Money intends to release a range of currency-backed stablecoins in a system that is fair and transparent, accessible for all, and with near-zero fees, instant settlements, and immediate finality. Built on the Cosmos SDK, E-Money uses the NGM(New Generation Money) token for staking and rewards.

Staking NGM

Head over to https://app.e-money.com and connect your Keplr wallet browser extension, click on the “Earn” tab on the left side of the menu and select a validator.

Before choosing a validator, it’s recommended to do your own research

Select “Stake” and enter the amount you wish to stake.

Keep in mind that Staking will lock your funds for 21 days

Select “Next” and “Send” for the transaction to be sent to Keplr wallet for signing and “Approve” the transaction.

Leave some spare NGM in your wallet to cover transaction fees

We can verify if the delegation was successful in the “Transactions” tab and by selecting our “Stake” will take us to mintscan for a more detailed view.

Rewards

Rewards will start accumulating with every block. They can be claimed at any time as there is no time limit. Rewards can be re-delegated for a compounding effect or something else, depending on your preferences.
